Key Stage 4 and 5 Awards Presentation

We held the Dallam School KS4 and 5 Awards Presentation this week at St Peter’s Church in Heversham, when students, their families and staff came together to celebrate the achievements in school year 2017-18 of Years 10, 11, 12 and 13.

After opening music from George Perry and the welcome from Head Boy and Girl Noah Lee and Emily Gorman, we listened to Mr Whittle’s remarks. The Chamber Choir then performed ‘The Lamb’ by John Tavener beauitifully, which was followed by the address from Principal Guest Ms Hannah Little.

Hannah is an ex-student of Dallam School who has returned to study as a solicitor after completing the Graduate Diploma in Law with a distinction. After work experience then employment with Tim Farron MP, Hannah is a geat believer in never being afraid to try new opportunities and demonstrated by working and studying in Russia. We wish her much success and hope our students learn from her experiences.

The Chamber Choir then followed, performing ‘The Goose and Swan’ by Bob Chilcott.

Hannah Little then presented Awards for progress, academic achievement, citizenship, Duke of Edinburgh, Sports and a host of individual subject awards in Y11 and 13.

After a vote of thanks from the Head Boy and Girl and music from George Perry, we concluded this very successful event for the academic year 2017-18, showing just how many talented, dedicated and hard working students we have had in Dallam School.
